Abstract (en)
The cell (1) has a flexible tubular envelope (2) closed at its ends (3, 4) in a longitudinal direction, where the envelope defines an inflatable chamber (8) between walls of the envelope. A fluid introduction tube (5) introduces inflating fluid e.g. gas, in the chamber, and a fluid discharge tube (6) discharges the fluid from the chamber, where the tubes are sealed at one of the ends. A connection unit i.e. tab (7) connects the cell to another identical cell, where the tab is integrated to the envelope. The envelope is formed of a portion of a tube or a sheath of thermoplastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating an inflatable cell.

La présente invention concerne une cellule gonflable d'un fluide et de préférence d'air, comportant : - une enveloppe tubulaire (2) close à ses extrémités (3,4), ladite enveloppe définissant entre ses parois une chambre gonflable (8), et - au moins un moyen d'introduction (5) de fluide dans la cellule et au moins un moyen d'évacuation (6) de fluide hermétiquement scellés à au moins une extrémité de l'enveloppe, et - au moins un moyen de liaison (7) de la cellule à une autre cellule identique, solidaire de l'enveloppe. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'une telle cellule et un dispositif de support de type matelas fabriqué à partir d'assemblage de dites cellules.
