Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2055660A1] The apparatus has a pair of circumferentially mounted deflection members (26, 26') i.e. conveyor pulleys, provided at distance from an outlet of a feed conveyor (10) i.e. telescopic belt conveyor. The deflection members form a transport gap, where planar objects (12) e.g. newspaper, are transported through the transport gap. The deflection members act synchronously with a cycle of the objects supplied from a passage gap into the gap. A stop is provided downstream of a passage gap in feed direction for leading edges (16) of respective object in feed direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for conveying planar objects.
