Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2056321A1] The high-voltage power switch has a housing (1) filled with insulating gas, and a heating volume (14) for accepting compressed quenching gas. A coil segment (51) is provided, which has a winding (53) of a coil (50). Arc race (15) is also provided, which is disposed at a gap (D) from each other in the axial direction. An axially oriented segment of a ferromagnetic core (40) is formed as a hollow cylinder (41), and is extended into the gap.
