[origin: WO2008028597A1] The invention relates to a carrycot (10) for a baby, comprising a base (12) and a peripheral wall (16) extending upward from the base (12). The base (12) has two base surface elements (18) which have approximately the same size and which can be swiveled between an active position defining a common base surface and a folded-down storage position. Connecting elements (26) extend upward from the two lateral edge sections (24) of the base surface element (18), two U-shaped frame elements (34) being connected thereto and being adjustable about a snap-in swiveling axis (36) between a folded-down storage position and an active position in which they define the upper edge of the carrycot (10). The two connecting elements (26) can be adjusted between an expanded position and a storage position which is closer to the base surface elements (18). A flexible wall surface element defining the wall (16) of the carrycot (10) is provided between the peripheral edge (14) of the base (12) and the two frame elements (34).
