[origin: WO2008016404A2] The present invention is directed to novel methods of treating a subject with a bone deficit disorder. The methods generally include administering to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutically acceptable formulation comprising a parathyroid hormone (PTH) peptide analogue in a daily dose sufficient to result in an effective pharmacokinetic profile and maintained adenylate cyclase activity, while simultaneously reducing undesirable side effects.
