[origin: DE102006039882B3] The system has a high-pressure pump (14) for conveying fuel from a fuel tank (10) to a fuel storage unit (16). A return pipe (19, 46) is arranged downstream of the high-pressure pump and upstream of the fuel tank for recycling the fuel from the high-pressure pump and/or an injector (18) into the fuel tank. A branch line branching off from the return pipe is hydraulically coupled with an exhaust gas track injector (47), with which the fuel is injected into an exhaust gas track of the internal-combustion engine.
