[origin: DE102006041377B3] The armature (9) has a connecting unit (14) made of a material with high electrical conductivity for connecting a fixed contact with a bus bar under the formation of a current path. A cooling body (17) is made of a material with high thermal conductivity and thermally arranged on the connecting unit. The cooling body encloses the connecting unit in a form-fit manner. The cooling body has a fastening unit (16) for fastening of the armature at a circuit breaker. The connecting unit has two side pieces with two connection surfaces (15) for connecting the bus bar and the fixed contact. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an armature of a circuit breaker for connecting of a fixed contact of a contact system with a bus bar of a switch gear.
