[origin: WO2008025374A1] The invention relates to an incandescent bulb (1), in particular a halogen incandescent bulb provided for medium or high voltage areas, comprising a lamp vessel (2) that is pinched on one side and the interior of which accommodates at least one spiral-wound filament (26). Said spiral-wound filament (26) is fixed in place in the lamp vessel (2) by at least one electrically insulating maintaining element (34, 36) comprising spiral holders (32). According to the invention, the at least one maintaining element is fixed in said lamp vessel by sectional thermal moulding of the lamp vessel (2). The invention also relates to a method for producing said type of incandescent bulb.
