[origin: EP2058253A2] The unwinding device has a bearing element and two carrier elements for double-sided swiveling support of a winding roller. The carrier elements are arranged at the bearing element. The carrier elements are supported along the bearing element in a movable manner. A driving unit is provided with a traction mechanism which is supported along the bearing element in a movable manner. The driving unit has an engagement mechanism which is arranged at the carrier element. The carrier element is interlocked at the traction mechanism.
