[origin: EP2058259A2] The arrangement has a winding core (2) and another winding core (3), which are arranged adjacent to each other in an axial direction, where each core has a bearing surface (4) for a material web. The winding core (2) has an axial extension (7) projecting in the bearing surface, where maximum outer diameter of the extension is smaller than outer diameter of the winding core (2). The extension extends into a recess (14) at an end of the winding core (3). The extension has a radial outer projection (8) that is arranged at an outer axial end of the extension.
