[origin: EP2058589A2] The boiler (1) has a primary-air supply device arranged within a combustion chamber (11) and outside a combustion body (5). The supply device is designed for supplying air into a combustion zone, and for guiding over flue gases (13) generated during burning out and/or annealing of fuel (2) in burnout and/or annealing space (10), into the primary-air supply device and the combustion body to allow the flue gases of a combustion stage not to influence combustion of the fuel on the combustion body. The combustion body and the burnout and/or annealing space are arranged commonly in the chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing heat energy during combustion of fuel in a boiler.
