[origin: EP2059070A2] The hearing device housing (1) is formed as a single piece in the ear and is mechanically separated as a faceplate (2) and a housing shell (3). A separating layer (4) is provided between the faceplate and the cover for separation. The separating layer is removed by a separating device during separation. The separating layer is characterized by multiple pins (5,5') or a color code. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing multipart hearing device housing.
