[origin: WO2008028204A1] The invention relates to a bottle storage apparatus, in particular a bottle rack, for at least one double row (7) which is formed from a first row (2) and a second row (3) of bottles (1) and rests on a support apparatus (11), wherein each support apparatus (11) has a first support sub-apparatus (6) and a second support sub-apparatus (10) for supporting the lateral surfaces (5) of the bottles (1) and a third support sub-apparatus (8), which is arranged between said first and second support sub-apparatuses, for supporting the bottle neck (4) of the bottle (1), said support sub-apparatuses (6, 8, 10) being arranged at a distance from one another in each case. According to the invention, the third support sub-apparatus (8) is formed such that it projects freely from a rear side, which is situated opposite a removal side, of the bottle storage apparatus towards the removal side, and stops (14) for the lateral surfaces (5) of the rearmost bottle (1) of the first and of the second row (2, 3) are provided, these stops being offset in relation to one another in the direction of the rows (2, 3).
