Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008025520A2] The invention relates to a hybrid drive apparatus for motor vehicles, having an internal combustion engine and an electrical drive machine which are connected one downstream of the other and act on at least one output shaft which drives an axle differential. In order to achieve a drive apparatus which is favourable in terms of efficiency and physical size, the invention proposes that at least one constant gear is additionally provided by means of transmission stages (50, 52), which constant gear bypasses the electrical drive machine (14) and acts on the output shaft (40) selectively directly from the internal combustion engine (10).
