[origin: WO2008025489A1] A disc brake, in particular for a utility vehicle, having a brake caliper (1) which engages over a brake disc (3) and having an application device (2), by means of which a brake lining (4) can be pressed against the brake disc (3) by means of at least one actuating spindle (11), which is guided in the brake caliper (1), in correspondence with a pressure piece (7), wherein the actuating spindle (11) is encased by a deformable bellows (9) between the pressure piece (7) and the brake caliper (1), which deformable bellows (9) has, at the end side, an elastic seal (10) which is provided with an inherently rigid support ring (12) and which is held in the manner of a press fit in an outlet opening (13) of the brake caliper (1) or of a part which is fastened thereto, is designed such that the support ring (12) and the seal (10) also bear directly and peripherally against the wall of the outlet opening (13).
