Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2905488A1] The terminal has a connection unit for accessing audio files available on an uninterrupted audio bit stream server (6). A decoding unit e.g. decoder, decodes the data flow transmitted by the server, and a loud speaker restitutes sound from the decoded data flow. A memorizing unit has a FLASH cache memory with reduced size for protecting the history of the usage of the terminal. A communication unit communicates with a service platform (4). The communication unit emits HTTP GET requests towards the platforms and receives request with XML-Phoenix format from the platform. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an architecture for accessing an audio file available on uninterrupted audio bit stream server (2) a method for communicating between a user terminal and service platforms.
