[origin: EP2060206A2] The drive (10) has a speed reduction transmission (16) i.e. worm drive, including a rotary propelable output unit i.e. worm gear (18), and coupled with a rotation direction-reversible drive motor (15). Adjustable furniture components (11, 12) stay in effective connection with an output element e.g. spindle (19), of the drive. The spindle secured against rotation is inserted in an internal threaded drilling, and the spindle forms the output element of the drive, where the internal threaded drilling is provided with the worm gear.
