[origin: EP2060329A1] The fixing material has a tensioning element which is connected with a screen unit (1), particularly a screen carrier (6) and is formed to exert force on a screen plate (5). Another tensioning element is connected with the screen unit, particularly the screen carrier and is also formed to exert force on the screen plate. One of the tensioning elements is an elastic element that is formed to exert an elastic restoring force on the screen plate. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for fixing a screen plate at a screen carrier of a screen unit for a crushing device; and (2) a crushing device for crushing material components.
