Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2060520A2] Process for setting a brake clearance (12) of a device for slowing down the running time of preferably spaced out flat products (2), especially joined printing products, where the brake clearance is restricted by cams (10) on camshaft (9) and a counter roll (11). Starting from a minimum value the brake clearance is maintained until the running time of the flat product between a pregap sensor (16) and a post gap sensor is altered downwards (sic) compared with the running time at the minimum clearance setting and the gap clearance is again decreased by a predetermined amount. An independent claim is included for a device for setting a brake clearance.
