Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2061050A1] The apparatus (A) has a set of movable contact supports e.g. rotating contact-carrier shaft (4), for supporting a set of movable contacts (2), which is arranged with respect to a set of fixed contacts (3). Each support is rotatably mounted between an opening position and a closing position. A contact pressure ensuring spring (15) ensures contact pressure between the fixed and movable contacts. Locking units lock another set of contact supports (5) in the former set of supports, where the units are activated during insertion of the movable contacts in the contact supports (5).
