Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2061060A1] The switchgear has a contact closing and/or opening mechanism (8) mounted in a socket (13) comprising fixation unit in a box, where the socket is a monoblock socket. The fixation unit such as clipping or casing unit, is located from a single side of the mechanism with respect to a quick closing shaft (12). The socket includes an opening e.g. lateral recess (14), for receiving a portion of the shaft on one of lateral surfaces so as to partially and laterally introduce the shaft inside the socket during assembly of the socket inside the box.
