[origin: DE102007015046B3] The stamping device has a blank holder (20) between a transport device (18) and a die (14) for direct transfer of each blank after cutting and for delivery to the transport device. The blank holder is rotatable about a rotational axis (25) of rotation of a ram (17), and the die is rotatable about a concurrent rotational angle, where the die is movably supported in an axial direction. The ram, the die and the blank holder are rotatable about 180 degrees with respect to an initial position. An independent claim is also included for a method for cutting blanks from a band-shaped material.
