[origin: WO2008031487A1] The invention relates to a device for the attachment of stage machinery devices, especially spotlights (1), with a retaining bracket (2) and at least one mounting element (4) or a mounting element holder, for the detachable mounting of the retaining bracket (2) or of the spotlight (1) or the like on a normally static mounting element holder (6) or on a mounting element. An adapter (20) is provided between the normally static mounting element holder and the mounting element (4) arranged on the retaining bracket (2), this adapter (20) having complementary connecting elements (24,26) to the static mounting element holder (6) on one side and to the mounting element (4) on the other side, at least one of which is rotatable by means of a rotational drive (22) assigned to the adapter (20) for pivoting the retaining bracket (2) or the spotlight, especially about a vertical rotational axis.
