[origin: EP2062699A2] The saw (2) has a protection cover (12) hinged at a machine housing (4). A locking device (16) and a drive spindle (6) is brought in a locking position simultaneously, such that the cover comprises a section (20) that is rear engageable by a locking organ (22) in a rotating direction. A spring pre-stressed and radially movable locking organ of the device co-acts with the section in a lockable manner, such that the locking organ with radial extending sections and bolt engages in a locking recess (38) of the spindle, where the locking organ is provided as a metallic bending stamping part.
