Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2062839A2] The device has a supporting component (1) carrying an object i.e. stack of mail flat items, where the supporting component moves in advancing direction (Z) towards a processing device i.e. singularizing device. A displacing component moves the supporting component transversely or obliquely to the advancing direction through a slot (6). An activating component activates the displacing component to move the supporting component through the slot and causes a lateral boundary (11) to sweep the object arranged on the supporting component and a base (10) of the processing device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a processing system comprising a base (2) a method for advancing an object to a processing device.
