Abstract (en)
The electrode (1) in a plasma torch for cutting a metallic part, comprises a body (2) forming the plasma torch and a cavity (4) within which an emissive insert (3) is fixed. The electrode body has an elongated form, and comprises an internal one-eyed recess (5), a downstream end (2a) carrying the emissive insert, an upstream end at a level of internal one-eyed recess and a unit for fixation of the electrode in a body of plasma torch. The fixation unit comprises a filleting unit or an internal thread fitted in the electrode body. An independent claim is included for a process for blending a metallic part with a plasma arc.

L'invention concerne une électrode (1) pour torche à plasma formée d'un corps d'électrode (2) comprenant une cavité (4) au sein de laquelle est fixé un insert (3) émissif, caractérisée en ce que ledit corps d'électrode (2) est formé d'un alliage contenant plus de 90% en poids d'argent. Torche de coupage plasma munie d'une telle électrode et procédé de coupage à l'arc plasma d'une pièce métallique, dans lequel on utilise une torche ou une électrode selon l'invention.
