Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2063689A1] The electrode (1) in a plasma torch for cutting a metallic part, comprises a body (2) forming the plasma torch and a cavity (4) within which an emissive insert (3) is fixed. The electrode body has an elongated form, and comprises an internal one-eyed recess (5), a downstream end (2a) carrying the emissive insert, an upstream end at a level of internal one-eyed recess and a unit for fixation of the electrode in a body of plasma torch. The fixation unit comprises a filleting unit or an internal thread fitted in the electrode body. An independent claim is included for a process for blending a metallic part with a plasma arc.
