[origin: EP2064974A1] The furniture has a supporting construction formed by parallel supporting elements (3) for a slat arrangement. Slats (2) are connected to the elements by spring organs (4). The organs are designed as telescopic springs, which include a cylinder (5) and a plunger (6). The cylinder is accommodated in a support side. The plunger is attached at a slat side and engaged in the cylinder. The plunger is supported at the cylinder by a spring element (7) i.e. cylinder pressure spring, which is engaged at a cylinder-side spring stop and a plunger-side spring stop. One of the spring stops is adjustable.
