Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2065094A2] The precipitator has precipitation electrodes (3-7) attached in a gas stream housing. A strand comprises spraying electrodes, which are stretchably retained under tensile stress. A periodically acting cleaning unit is provided for cleaning the precipitation electrodes. A cleaning device e.g. brush, is attached in the strand. The strand is connected with a drive system for executing cleaning action of the cleaning device. A part of the strand is wound on a lower winding drum (27) for executing cleaning action of the cleaning device.
