The profile (11) has a thickness-reduced section (16) with material thickness (D) that is smaller than initial material thickness (W) of a strip-shaped rolling stock. Thickened regions (21-23) are provided in a region of bends (17, 18) with material thickness (H) greater than the thickness (W) of the rolling stock. The thickened regions are located adjacent to the bends. Side walls (12) enclose a hollow space (19), where the thickened regions are located adjacent to the hollow space. The material thickness of the thickened regions corresponds to 1.1 to 2 times of the thickness (W).

Ein Profil (11) aus einem bandförmigen Walzgut mit einer Ausgangsmaterialstärke (W) weist eine Längsachse (15), Biegungen (17, 18) und dickenreduzierte Abschnitte (16) mit einer Materialstärke (D) auf, die kleiner als die Ausgangsmaterialstärke (W) ist. Im Bereich der Biegungen (17, 18) des Profils (11) sind jeweils verdickte Bereiche (21, 22) mit einer Materialstärke (H) vorgesehen, die grösser als die Ausgangsmaterialstärke (W) ist.
