[origin: EP2065986A2] The plug socket unit (1) has multiple socket-insertions (20) that are inserted in a housing (10). Light-emitting diode (LED) displays (22) are provided for operating conditions of the respective sockets insertions. The LED displays are provided with an associated light source unit and a control circuit from the respective socket-insertions. Individual operating conditions are coded for more than two socket-insertions with the LED displays in visually variable light transfer mode. The coding is carried out in different light colors or by intermediate light transfer.
