[origin: WO2008034687A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a hot water reservoir (1). According to the invention, this method comprises the following steps: surrounding an optionally preformed plastic body (2) with a fibrous reinforcement material (3), feeding the surrounded plastic body (2) into a supporting mold (4), closing the supporting mold (4), tempering the supporting mold (4) such that the plastic melts, applying a force inside the plastic body (2) such that the molten plastic is pressed to the outside and together with the surrounding fiber material (3) forms a hot water reservoir (1), hardening of the resulting hot water reservoir (1) and removing the resulting hot water reservoir (1). The inventive method allows for a cost effective, fast and environmentally friendly production of a hot water reservoir (1) having high pressure resistance.
