[origin: GB2442228A] A beverage dispenser comprising a storage unit (42, figure 6) for storing a plurality of empty or partially empty containers (1, fig. 1), a filling unit for injecting a liquid into the said containers1 to produce filled containers and an enclosed display unit 30 for displaying one or more of the filled containers prior to dispensing. A transfer mechanism (not shown) for transferring the containers from the storage unit 42 to the filling unit and from the filling unit to the display unit 30 is also provided, as is a dispensing mechanism for dispensing filled containers from the display unit 30. A control unit 36 actuates the filling unit, the transfer mechanism and the dispensing mechanism in response to an operator instruction. Also described is a beverage dispensing system comprising a beverage dispenser according to the invention and a plurality of partially or completely empty containers.
