Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008031528A2] The aim of the invention is to develop a closing and opening system that is suitable for locking a pivotable door leaf and comprises an automatic locking bolt actuator, an automatic catch release, and a mechanism for unlocking the automatically triggered locking bolt by means of a remote-controlled electromagnetic door opener. Said aim is achieved by equipping a pivotable door leaf with a door lock encompassing a triggering element for actuating a locking bolt which is automatically actuated by a closing process of the door leaf, as well as an externally operated opening bolt for unlocking the locking bolt. Furthermore, a remote-controlled electromagnetic door opener is provided for externally unlocking the locked door lock and simultaneously opening the door lock. Said electromagnetic door opener is fitted with a pushing mechanism which is used for impinging the opening bolt and is disposed within the door frame. The opening bolt and the pushing mechanism are arranged across from each other.
