Abstract (en)
[origin: DE102006046210A1] The photo-detector has an organic photoactive layer as a bulk-heterojunction-blend between two electrodes. The concentrations of components of the bulk-heterojunction-blend are changed in a direction of distances of the electrodes in such a manner that a high concentration of hole transporting components exists close to an anode and a high concentration of electrodes transporting components exists close to a cathode. An auxiliary electrodes blocking layer is directly attached on the anode. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing an organic photo-detector.
