[origin: EP2067885A1] The bed (1) has a base (10) comprising fluid canals (15, 16, 21), and grooves (12,) at a surface (11), where the grooves are provided in connection with the fluid canal. A bar (4) is inserted into the grooves to form guide grooves between each other for a knitting tool, and includes a set of recesses (28-37). The recesses form a fluid connection between the fluid canal and the guide grooves. The base is provided with a set of connection canals (20, 24), which connects the grooves with the fluid canal.
