Abstract (en)
The method involves mutually detecting the presence of each of two electronic payment terminals of a parking area using a detecting unit by emitting an electronic payment terminal presence control request and by waiting for a response for the control request. An absence information or potential absence alert is emitted using an emission unit, if one of the electronic payment terminals is not detected and in case of non response or invalid response of the electronic payment terminal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for protecting an electronic payment terminal, on a parking area against the theft (2) a electronic payment terminal comprising a control unit (3) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions for performing a electronic payment terminal protecting method.

L'invention concerne un procédé de protection contre le vol de terminaux de paiement électroniques déployés au sein d'un parc composé d'au moins deux terminaux de paiement électroniques organisés en réseau. Selon l'invention, un tel procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : - détection mutuelle de présence de chacun desdits terminaux dudit pare ; - émission d'une information d'absence si au moins un desdits terminaux n'est pas détecté.
