The connector has a pin contact (10) or socket contact with ball-shaped recess (16), which contacts mechanically and electrically with a ball-shaped molded recess (41) of a contact element (40). An electrically conducting casing contact (30) has a slot socket with a concavely formed contact area (38), which contacts a spherical ring (48) formed in a central opening of a contact holder (45). The casing contact together with the pin or socket contact are rotatable and pivotable around a central plug axis by the recess (16), the recess (41) and the concavely formed contact area.

Für eine elektrische Kontaktierung von zwei parallel angeordneten Leiterkarten (5) wird ein Leiterkartensteckverbinder (1) vorgeschlagen, der als Stiftkontakt (10) und Buchsenkontakt (20) ausgebildete, koaxiale Steckmodule aufweist. Dazu ist vorgesehen, die beiden Steckmodule so auszubilden, dass sie innerhalb eines bestimmten Bereiches um ihre zentrale Steckachse dreh- und schwenkbar auf der Leiterkarte angeordnet sind, so dass Positionsungenauigkeiten oder Schiefstellungen der Leiterkarten zueinander ausgleichbar sind. Weiterhin ist vorgesehen, bestimmte Abstände zwischen den Leiterkarten mittels unterschiedlicher Längen der stiftseitigen Steckmodule zu realisieren.
