[origin: EP2068405A2] The tool (10) has an actuating device (19) for moving a cutting device, such that cable wires of a data cable (30) are commonly cut, when a retaining device (12) is together with a wire attachment case (14) of a plug connector in a cut position of another actuating lever (17). The lever (19) moves another retaining device (13) together with a base module (15) of the connector towards the device (12), such that the wires are electrically contacted with cutting clamps of a module connecting device, when the device (12) is together with the case in a pre-pressed position of the lever (17).
