[origin: WO2008040836A1] The present invention relates to a solution for allocating an elevator car in an elevator system. In the solution a destination call is received from a user and an elevator car is allocated to the user on the basis of the destination call received. The invention is characterized in that in conjunction with a destination call a categorization expression is received from the user, and in that the categorization expression given by the user is taken into account in allocating an elevator car.
