Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008037309A1] The invention relates to a heat exchanger which has a tube bundle heat exchanger unit with tubes (2) which are arranged in a plurality of tube rows (3) which are situated one above the other, specifically offset with respect to one another in successive tube rows (3). The tubes (2) are, through the tube rows (3), aligned obliquely with respect to the tube rows (3). At one end, the tubes (2) are provided with a device for the supply of heating medium or coolant, referred to below as working medium, and at the other end, the tubes (2) are provided with a device for discharging said working medium. The heat exchanger unit is provided with one or more heat exchanger modules (1) which in each case have an equal number N of tubes (2) and devices, formed at both ends of the tubes (2) as connecting devices (4), for the supply and/or discharge of working medium. The connecting devices (4) comprise in each case one tube plate (5) which is formed in a corrugated shape predefined by the outer tubes (2) in such a way that, when two heat exchanger modules (1) are joined together, the tube plates (5) of the two heat exchanger modules (1) engage into one another in a toothed fashion.
