[origin: WO2008037539A1] The invention relates to a radio receiver (200) in which the received signal is processed in parallel in at least two paths. A first mixed oscillator signal is above the centre of the channel in one path and a second mixed oscillator signal is beneath the centre of the channel in a second path. Furthermore, spectral components can be filtered out by means of filters and the signals can then be processed and/or combined in a suitable manner.
