[origin: EP2070660A2] The pressing tool (1) has a fixed part (2), and a moving part that is moved by a hydraulic piston relative to the fixed part and moved back into a starting position by a reset spring. The return movement takes place by opening a return valve (6) based on a predetermined, adjustable pressing pressure, where the pressure is gradually adjusted. A rotary switch (7) is provided at pressure/sliding switches (11a) or transition keys for adjusting the predetermined pressing pressure. A valve housing (11) of the return valve is received movably and freely into a cylinder.
