Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a device (1) for manufacturing green bricks from clay for the brick manufacturing industry, comprising: a circulating conveyor (2) formed from mould container parts (3), wherein each mould container part (3) comprises one or more mould containers (16), means (4) for arranging deformable clay in the mould containers (16), and means for discharging green bricks released from the mould containers, wherein the device further comprises two parts (20,22) movable relative to each other, the first part (20) comprising at least one hollow perforating member (34) for arranging a recess in the clay, wherein the hollow perforating member (34) comprises open outer ends on both sides, and the second part (22) comprising holding means (40) adapted to hold the green brick in place when the clay is perforated out of the green brick. The invention further relates to a device for removing clay from a green brick, and to a method for manufacturing green bricks from clay.
