[origin: EP2071676A2] The plug arrangement has two plug elements (12,14) with plug housings (30,30') having plug contact ends (18,18') and cable guide ends (26,26'). The plug elements have strain relief devices with cable holder openings. The strain relief devices are formed by plug housing elements. The strain relief devices comprise annular sections defining the cable holder opening, which are fastened with each other under exertion of a radial clamping force on cables (28,28') guided in the plug elements through the cable holder opening.
