Abstract (en)
The precipitator (1) has a flow channel (3) including a channel wall (4) and a channel interior (5) via which an exhaust gas (P) containing particles flows in a flow direction. The channel has an electrode (6) that is detachable from the channel and extends in the channel interior in the flow direction. The electrode is detachably fastened to the wall via an electrode holder (9) that is in contact with the wall. A safety device (10) prevents the electrode from supplying electrical discharge, during break of contact between the holder and the wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for protection against uncontrolled discharge of an electrode for an electrostatic precipitator.

Es ist eine Aufgabe der Erfindung, einen elektrostatischen Abscheider (1), ein Heizungssystem und ein Verfahren zu schaffen, welche insbesondere ein sicheres Herausbewegen der Elektrode (6) aus ihrer betriebsbereiten Position ermöglicht, ohne dass es zu unkontrollierten Entladungen oder Ladungsübertragungen von der Elektrode (6) kommt. Dies wird erreicht durch einen elektrostatischen Abscheider (1), der eine Sicherungseinrichtung (10) umfasst ist, welche verhindert, dass bei einem Aufheben eines Kontaktes zwischen der Elektrodenhalterung (9) und der Kanalwandung (4) der Elektrode (6) elektrische Ladung zugeführt wird.
