[origin: EP2072267A2] The transport device (1) has a printing module. The transport device is arranged firmly in the printing device opposite to the hardproof device. Two guide rollers (5,6) and a support plate (9) are provided for the transport band (2), in order to form the transport area. The printing module projects partially into the intermediate space between the guide rollers. The printing module has an ink cartridge (11,12) whose ink jet printing head is placed outside the transport area.
