[origin: EP2072407A1] The machine (1) has an inkjet printer (2) with two print heads (3) having a nozzle, and a cover (4) alternatively running before an outlet opening of the nozzle. The cover is divided in such a manner that the cover separately leads the ink discharging from the nozzle in an ink circular flow. A direction of an ink jet remains unchanged during inserting of the cover. The inkjet printed is formed as a need-dependent printer. The cover is inserted between the print heads and a labeling belt (6) guided over rollers (5). An independent claim is also included for a method for applying information.
