The drum has a winder drum (4) for winding an electrical cable (14) and arranged at a carrier element (2). A spring element exerts a spring force on the winder drum for self-actuated winding of the cable. A control mechanism stops the winder drum against the self-actuated winding, and has a control cylinder (8) arranged centrally about a rotational axis (12). A groove structure is included in a cylinder casing of the cylinder, and the mechanism has a blocking element engaged into the groove structure and sliding along the groove structure by a rotational movement of the winder drum.

Die selbstaufwickelnde Kabeltrommel umfasst ein Tragelement (2), eine Aufwickeltrommel (4) zum Aufwickeln eines Kabels (14), ein Federelement (24), welches auf die Aufwickeltrommel (4) eine Federkraft zum selbsttätigen Aufwickeln des Kabels (14) ausübt, sowie eine Steuermechanik (6,8) zum Arretieren der Aufwickeltrommel (4) gegen ein selbsttätiges Aufwickeln. Die Arretierung ist durch kurzen Zug am Kabel (14) lösbar. Die Steuermechanik weist hierzu einen zentral um eine Drehachse (12) angeordneten Steuerzylinder (8) auf, in dessen Zylindermantel eine Nutstruktur (30) eingearbeitet ist. Die Steuermechanik umfasst weiterhin ein Sperrelement (32), das in die Nutstruktur (30) eingreift. Durch die spezielle Ausgestaltung der Steuermechanik mit dem zentral angeordneten Steuerzylinder (8) mit seiner Nutstruktur (30) und dem darin eingreifenden Sperrelement (32) ist die mechanische Belastung der Steuermechanik gering gehalten und damit die Gesamtlebensdauer erhöht.
