Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2072674A2] The method involves temporarily increasing moisture content of a fiber material web (F) and/or lining (T2) protecting the fiber material web, in a portion of transfer area between a forming device and a drying device (6). The moisture content of the fiber material web and/or the lining is increased over a predefined time period, where the increase takes place during a start or after a fiber material web tear until the fiber material web reach the contact drying device. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a fiber material web.
